He sits in the Roane County Jail charged with failure to register as an offender and sexual solicitation of a minor. He met the girl, under 6 years old, while he was at church. After that meeting, he began a detailed computer diary of his plan to molest her. He also detailed his grooming efforts with the girl.

His punishment pales in comparison to the torment and suffering of his victims. One victim said the defendant had made a “web of horror that terrorizes me until this day.” He also told the judge he had been “scarred for life.” Two other victims also addressed the court.

If you’re Common Pleas Judge Vincent Culotta, not only do you think 4 years will suffice, but you’ll chastise the prosecutor for her recommendation.
